The Butterfly Pollination Poem

As per usual, we were trying to start the new year off on a good note by cleaning the house so that we don't end up like any of those pig people on the TV show Hoarders. You know, the kind of people who never clean up and never throw anything away and then 20 years later a reality TV crew finds a dead flattened cat 17 layers down in the rubble somewhere in the kitchen and you say, "Oh, so that's where Toonces went!" Well, we didn't quite finish cleaning this weekend (the vacuum cleaner has been standing in the middle of the living room for the past two days like a veteran's monument), but we did manage to get a few things done and find a few long lost items along the way. One of the lost items I came across was a birthday card that I bought for Jodi about 7 years ago.

On the outside of the card is a painting of a butterfly. The inside of the card was originally blank, but instead of just lazily writing the words "To Whom It May Concern, Happy Birthday," I decided to write Jodi an erotic birthday poem. Pay attention guys; this is how it's done. And ladies, I apologize in advance for any trembling, moisture, or feelings of intense love my words may cause in you. People like Ricky Martin and me just can't help it.

So without further ado, here it is, my special birthday card butterfly pollination poem for Jodi...

Like the butterfly pollinates the flower, so you too pollinate me... with your love.

And I, in turn, pollinate you.

Actually, I don't know if butterflies pollinate.

But it's the thought that counts.

And they're very pretty.

And you're very pretty.

So there's that.

In conclusion, you're like a butterfly, and that is a very good thing.

And I love you.

I love you infinity.

This card kicks ass.

Love, Paul
